What a joy it was to gather together at our Annual Partners in Christ Celebration! Thank you to each of you who joined us for an evening filled with gratitude, inspiration, and a renewed sense of purpose. The Spirit of God was present, and together we were reminded of why we serve and what it means to know God and make Him known.
Celebrating Leadership
The evening began with a heartfelt President’s Report from Lisa Young, sharing both the challenges and the tremendous victories of the past year. Her words reminded us that steady, faithful leadership paves the way for lasting impact. We also welcomed new board member Steven Chittenden and introduced Tim Nelson as co-president of the board, both of whom bring deep commitment and energy to this work. Honoring Milestones
We were blessed to hear from Richard Acosta, Administrator of the Fountain of Life School, and Dario Cruz, President of FUDESA, as they shared progress on the third-floor high school expansion and unveiled the school’s five-year Master Plan. Their vision for the future—grounded in faith and shaped by the needs of their community—moved us all. With just $57,000 left to raise on our $300,000 campaign goal, we are closer than ever to seeing this dream realized. [Insert photo of Richard and Dario presenting]
We also celebrated the 40th Anniversary of Colegio Cristiano Logos, as shared by Lester Flaquer. Partners in Christ was privileged to walk with Logos through their earliest decades, and today, the school stands as a shining example of what happens when faithful leaders are empowered to build capacity and serve their communities for the long haul. A Spirit of Thanksgiving
The evening was also filled with expressions of gratitude for those who give so generously of their time and gifts:
To Melissa Hanner, our Sponsorship Chair and event coordinator, for her faithful service in making the evening possible.
To Dharling Cruz, whose design, photography, and video talents elevated the entire experience.
To David Hanner, for capturing the evening through his lens.
To Carl and Pat Key, whose obedience to God sparked this ministry years ago.
To Dan Krause and Berean Church, for graciously hosting us once again.
To our caterer, for preparing a wonderful meal shared in fellowship.
And finally, to our friends at Nutramax and the Henderson family, for their extraordinary generosity toward the Fountain of Life campaign.
Looking Ahead
The night was a powerful reminder that Partners in Christ is not just about programs or buildings—it’s about lives transformed by the Gospel. Together, we are part of something bigger than ourselves: a movement of revival, restoration, and hope.
As we step into the year ahead, we invite you to stay engaged, pray for the ongoing work in Juan Tomás and beyond, and walk with us as we build God’s Kingdom together. We look forward to seeing you throughout the year—and again in 2026 for another celebration of God’s faithfulness.
